That was really such a touching moment, especially when she said "I never told anyone Oscar". Even after what she did to Nicola that really humanised the character.

Was any one else happy that David survived? I know it isn't real (except Freddie Fruitcake), but I was over joyed when he got back up, and, although saddned by the other character's deaths (lets face it, Robert ain't gonna live) I was pleased that at least one got away.

i disagree- however cheesey this sounds in a way none of the characters can be justified as being dead, except maybe maureen. the explosion and roberts situation are typical cliff hangers that thrillers use and steve and reece are just making fun of these things- and dont forget "death" counts for nothing where psychoville is concerned- look at nurse kenchington

I don't believe Robert is going to die - Kerry is in love with him.

I thought it was far more likely that they're going to attempt some sort of love spell on him so that he'll fall for Kerry

Unless she was just pretending to be in love with him so that she could get him to her Grandma for whatever reason she needs him. Your idea does make a lot of sense though as she had trouble getting him to give up Debbie and she seemed to be trying very hard to get him to say he loved her so I'm guessing you might be right!

Actually, if you play episode 7 back, you can tell it's Jolly by the voice, when all the things go wrong and he's saying things like "and who is she?"

I was watching episode 1 earlier, and you can see its him in the first scene. The way he walks and moves just gives it away.
Oh, I see Dr. Miriam Stoppard has snuck back in. How's Tom? Oh yes, he left you, didn't he? For Felicity Kendal.

I just thought of one very obivious reason David was not with the rest of the characters inside the hospital, with Steve playing both parts and the logistics of having a character superimposed into the scene is a lot more difficult than just having something for David to do outside.

I don't know... Mike Myers has managed to do it in Austun Powers, when he's had to play multiple parts, eg Fat Bastard, Austin Powers, Dr Evil, Goldmember etc... They could have done it I feel.
